Without fail every 'home' day at home school involves some reading. Often it's what we start our day with. Each reading our own, me reading to him, or him reading to me. Or all three.

Basically this is a little blog we set up to document our journey towards homeschooling way back when we were a Kiwi family of 5. Mum, Dad and the kids 12, 9 and 2.
We were looking at homeschooling our middle child. And did so for a year before she decided to head back to school.
We have since added to our family and moved to Perth, WA.
In July 2015 we made the decision to take our now seven year old out of school and homeschool him for at least the remainder of the year. While his 4 year old brother attended a wonderful play based Kindy in the Perth Hills.
In February 2016 having worked together to make the decision the now 8 year old is back at school. And I have my 4.5 year old homeschooling with me for 'Pre-primary'.
At 5 and a bit years 'the youngest' started school and hopefully our homeschooling journey is done. Which means that this blog won't be added to any more.
