Lego

Lego is big in our house and it gets created and played with most days. Sometimes to plan, but most often not. There's also a lot of imaginative play that goes with it- most of the fighting, super hero type- some violent which I'm not fond of but I'm super glad for the creativity and imagination going down so I take the bad with the good.

Cake Baking

Cake making out of a box makes for some easy practical life action. Plus it combines science and technology as well as a bit of creativity with the decorating. :-)

Bubble Blower

We've been busy lately with guests and visitors so not much time for blogging- but we're still doing school work. K Mart has a number of very cool kits for kids at super reasonable prices. I picked up this Bubble Blower kit for Will and he was super keen to get into it. With the exception of one fiddly wire he completed the whole project himself.
