Cake Baking

Cake making out of a box makes for some easy practical life action. Plus it combines science and technology as well as a bit of creativity with the decorating. :-)

Jelly

Jelly (not in line with our new diet) is something that Tama can make himself (I pour the water from the kettle). He enjoys doing it and knows the whole process. Even better he enjoys eating it.

I printed the photos from this session and he dictated the instructions for Jelly Making into his language book.

Crackers

We've started to modify our diet this year for health reasons, so we're experimenting with some new foods to find replacements for the old 'carbage'. Tama helped me to make these seed crackers. I thought they were ok but no one else seemed to agree. At least we had fin making them.

What The?

Will has gotten into experimenting with food. 

This was a failed experiment.

It wouldn't have been a fail except that I threw it out.

So what you can see here is two dry weet-bix on a bed of sultanas and cinnamon. Topped with yoghurt and an insane amount of brown sugar!

Baking Day

Baking is an activity on our weekly schedule-  but it's something I rarely take photos of it because we are generally involved in the moment. This time we made Rice bubble cakes and Carrot Cake.
